Amir Umar Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. is a private limited company. It was incorporated in 1986. The company is engaged in the ginning, export, import, indenting of raw cotton and merchandising of cotton, blended yarns and other textile made ups. The company has been part of the famous family of cotton exporters of Pakistan, namely Haji Khudabux Amir Umar which has been engaged in the cotton trade since 1932. Over the years the group has performed exceptionally well on the export and manufacturing fronts. The company also enjoys excellent trade relations with eminent textile groups like Sapphire Group, Bhanero Group, Gulistan Group, Fatima Group, Indus Group, Colony Group, Ihsan Cotton Products, and many others.

The company has a qualified and able management with a great deal of industry experience by virtue of their direct involvement in ginning and trade operations since 1986. The Chief Executive, Mr. Anwar Illahi has been associated with the cotton trade since 1970 and has vast experience of the trade. The two Directors, Mr. Waqas Anwar and Mr. Noman Anwar hold master's degree in business administration from leading management schools of Pakistan. Mr. Waqas Anwar is currently a director of Karachi Cotton Association, the premier cotton regulating body in Pakistan. As such the management is well equipped to run the company's affairs both on the trade and manufacturing fronts as they have done in the past.
